What a beautiful place Philo Pharm is!  It is such a joy to live here surrounded by so many wonderful plants.

Below are some favorites - Passionflower for soothing a racing mind, Ashwaganda to warm and calm, Yarrow which is both a physical and psychic protector and healer, and Wild Mexican Yam (Diascorea villosa) for balancing women's hormones.  Scroll down for more!

Granddaughter Mikaela, a budding plant lover herself.

Mikaela spends lots of time watering plants and clearly loves them.  Watching Mikaela and plants grow bring great joy to Mary Pat and the Philo School.

Elecampane (Inula helenium) and Elise

The Elecampane is a very beautiful tall plant with amazing healing properties for the respiratory and digestive systems.  Here student Elise Rodriguez is sheltered and enchanted by the soft leaves.
